AE Graphics Group strives for the highest level of social and ethical responsibility in our dealings with customers, employees, suppliers and the community. We are all responsible to make a better world. Annually, AE Graphics Group contributes materials, volunteer labour and over $50,000 in financial assistance to food banks, service clubs, the arts, health care, minor sports, and historical preservation. Listed below are just some of the ways we are involved in our communities.
2012 marks The Aylmer Express' twenty-third year of sponsoring, promoting and collecting for Aylmer Corner Cupboard food bank's major drive at Thanksgiving. The newspaper allowed us a great means of accessing the community by inserting donation bags in The Aylmer Express newspaper so all readers need only return donation to one of the many local businesses that partner with us in this venture. This early autumn food drive ensures that shelves at the Aylmer Corner Cupboard food bank are stocked during the winter months of greatest need.
AE Graphics Group is proud to support Second Harvest Toronto, another initiative that gets food to the hungry. As the largest food rescue program in Canada, Second Harvest collects excess food from restaurants and food retailers providing fresh food to those in need in a resourceful manner. The spirit of Second Harvest not only captures our belief in giving, but also to waste as little as possible.
www.secondharvest.caAE Graphics Group is very proud to be a supporter of Stratford Festival, one of the best classical theatres in the world. They stage a diverse set of productions every year, showcase world-class talent, and make theatre arts accessible to all generations. The performing arts have always captivated us, and we are glad to contribute to Stratford Festival, investing in their continued quality and success.
www.stratfordfestival.caAE Graphics Group recognizes the importance of sport in our communities. We sponsor a wide range of youth teams that help youngsters develop teamwork skills, confidence, and an active lifestyle that will be of lifelong value.
In 2011 AE Graphics Group became the title sponsor of the Three Port Tour bicycle ride, with many members of our staff organizing and participating in the event. The ride offers cyclists a fully supported ride through 160 kilometers of beautiful Elgin County and Lake Erie north shore. With 150 cyclists at the inaugural ride and 100 more in 2012, we have been able to donate thousands to local cycling and environmental leadership programs.
www.threeporttour.comAE Graphics Group is a supporter of the Canada Southern Railway Station (CASO) restoration project, which is now almost complete. On the brink of destruction only few years ago, the rundown railway station in downtown St. Thomas was saved by a great display of community solidarity. The station is not only an architectural site needing to be preserved for future generations, but also a site of great historic importance, a marker of the great rail history in southern Ontario.

Historical preservation is an important aspect of any community, it allows current generations to learn from the mistakes of the past, and gives a record of how life is now for future generations. AE Graphics Group has been a long-time supporter of Aylmer-Malahide Museum & Archives, which works to preserve current and past facts, pictures and objects, as well to educate the community through exhibits and informative columns.
